DIRECT SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS

BEFORE YOU PROCEED, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Thank you for choosing to have your Jimy Tools order shipped via the Direct Shipping or Pick Up Options.

Jimy Industrial only ships in Australia.

Delivery times vary depending on your order.

Jimy Tools reserves the right to apply a 10% re-stocking fee to any returns excluding Warranty or any manufactory faults.

All items remain the property of Jimy Tools until payment has been completed in full.

DEPOSITS

One of our friendly staff will contact you to inform you when our stock has arrived and has been receipted into stock. Deposits will only be valid for a minimum of 14 days upon the first contact from our staff – After this time if full payment has not been made and received, Jimy Tools reserves the right to enter your order back into stock for sale. No refunds will be provided on deposits or payment installments.

ADELAIDE WAREHOUSE PICK UP:

Adelaide warehouse pick up option is only for orders to be collected from 5 Cord Street, Dudley Park SA 5008, otherwise freight fees apply. Pick up times are from 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

DIRECT SHIPPING:

All of our parcels are sent with an ATL (Authority to Leave) and covers most areas. Items cannot be sent to a PO Box or C/O Post Office and a street delivery address must be provided where possible. Additional freight charges may be applied for PO Box deliveries and to regional/remote delivery addresses when no other option is available.

Please make sure that there will be someone to accept the delivery of your item, or that you specify a safe place for the driver to leave your order.

We would like to point out that for some of Jimy Tools Tool Kits or Tool Boxes extra freight fees may apply depending on regional location, volume of order and unloading requirements eg if you require tailgate delivery.

Be aware that it is a requirement that consignments which weigh over 60Kg will require a tailgate if a forklift is not available. Freight charges will apply for tailgate bookings. Alternatively, delivery to a suitable depot can be organised. PLEASE NOTE** If you have agreed to having access to a forklift for the delivery and the freight courier arrives and you do not have access to a forklift, if the courier must return with a tailgate, the customer will be invoiced for the full outstanding fee.

Occasionally components from a Tool Kit are unavailable at the time of shipping, in which case Jimy Tools will place the unavailable items on back order. These will be forwarded to the customer at no shipping cost when available. If requested by the customer, these items can be refunded for their value instead of being placed on back order. Jimy Tools is not responsible for any loss of income that may occur due to these back orders or late supply.

WEB ONLY ORDERS

Jimy Finance is not available for any Web Only product orders.

A freight fee is applicable and will be charged for all stock found in the “Workshop Equipment”/”Online Only” categories, as they are affiliated partners and will provide their own freight charges

One of our friendly staff will contact you to organise your delivery and confirm freight charges prior to dispatch.

Currently all Jimy Tools Car Hoists are recommended for Private Use only.

BULKY ITEMS

Additional freight charges are applicable for regional/remote delivery addresses, tailgates and over-sized pallets. Any freight delivery over 300kms from a Metropolitan Capital City (Exc Tasmania) will have additional outer-regional costs.

DEPOT DELIVERY

Any Depot Deliveries will be held for a maximum of 3 Days free of charge, after this timeframe, the customer is then responsible for any additional charges.

Any unclaimed goods returned to Jimy Tools will be at the cost of the customer.

GIFT CARDS

What will happen if I return an item purchased with a e-Gift Card? If any product purchased with a e-Gift Card is returned for a refund, the refund amount will be automatically credited to the original e-Gift Card balance.

TRANSIT INSURANCE

The Transit Insurance covers damage and/or loss of property whilst in transit. Jimy Industrial Pty Ltd will cover the cost of replacement of missing goods at no extra cost to the customer.

Goods are sent out in perfect condition but unfortunately, occasionally damage can occur to consignments in transit and they may arrive damaged; this is the procedure if this has just happened to you.

If your goods are being delivered by parcel or pallet;

1. You can refuse the delivery – if there is obvious damage to the packaging and if you believe the damage has made the goods unusable then you have the right to refuse the delivery.
           
a. Contact us as soon as possible on 08 8269 9700 or via email. Please take photos of the damage before refusing it, so that we can pass these on to the freight company. Please email them to us at warranty@jimytools.com.au as soon as possible. 
         
b. By refusing to accept the delivery, the goods will be returned to Jimy Industrial for inspection.

c. Upon receipt of the damaged goods, Jimy Industrial Pty Ltd will organise for delivery of your order. 
         
2. If you sign for the goods without mentioning the damage, in the terms and conditions of our freight carrier the goods are signed for in good condition and a claim cannot be made with our freight carrier. Therefore we are unable to claim for the goods sent out. So it is vital if you suspect damage to the goods then inform the delivery driver to make a note on his paperwork that it is damaged, before you sign and accept your delivery.

3. If no one was on site to sign for the goods as damaged
           
a. Contact us as soon as you can inspect the goods on 08 8269 9700 or via email
           
b. Please take as many photos as possible and send them to warranty@jimytools.com.au
           
c. We will contact you with further instructions & organise to pick up your damaged consignment to return to our warehouse.

d. Upon receipt of the damaged goods, Jimy Industrial Pty Ltd will organise for delivery of your
